Living allowance is NOT included in the scholarships.

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with outstanding results, as deemed by the University of Sydney. Students completing Foundation Studies Programs offered by Australian or New Zealand universities are eligible. Students who have already commenced/completed tertiary studies, or students transferring with credit exemptions and/or advanced standing, are not eligible. * See Undergraduate entry requirements.
Postgraduate Scholarships
Applicants must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree qualification with outstanding results based on the Australian grading system, as deemed by the University of Sydney.   Students who have already commenced/completed postgraduate studies, or students transferring with credit exemptions and/or advanced standing, are not eligible.
Application instructions:
To be considered for the Sydney Achievers International Scholarship, a candidate must receive an Unconditional Offer of Admission. Applicants receiving an Unconditional Offer of Admission for will be invited to lodge an Expression of Interest. The closing date for the EOI form will be indicated in the invitation letter.

The Skoll MBA Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for incoming MBA students who pursue entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. The Scholarship provides funding and exclusive opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought-leaders and investors.
The Scholarship is given in recognition that the MBA may represent a significant financial burden, particularly for those who have chosen to work in social ventures rather than the commercial or public sectors.

The Skoll Scholarship covers full costs of Said Business School tuition and college fees.  The Scholarship also covers partial living expenses based on need, up to an additional £8,000.
Eligibility:
To be considered, you need to meet the following criteria:
1. Candidates must have started or worked in a social venture for 12 months or longer.
2. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of personal qualities strongly resonating with social entrepreneurship leadership, and illustrate how these have influenced their career path thus far. These qualities include:
    • •  Single-mindedness and persistence in pursuit of a social benefit goal, including a willingness to face failure and start again
    • •  A bias towards action rather than reflection
    • •  A tendency to explore the environment for opportunities and resources
    • •  A willingness to take personal, and sometimes financial, risks
    • •  A habit of developing a network and subtly or unsubtly exploiting its members.
3. Candidates must demonstrate how a business education can contribute to the wider development of the community they work with in the social entrepreneurship movement. They will need to illustrate why a business degree at this stage of their career trajectory can help them amplify their impact.
4. Candidates must demonstrate some evidence of their need for the scholarship.  This may be exhibited, for example, in previous work experiences or personal backgrounds which make self-funding the MBA a significant financial burden.

Please note that in order to apply for the Skoll Scholarship you first need to apply and be accepted onto the SaĆÆd Business School’s MBA programme. To be formally considered for a Skoll Scholarship, you need to state your interest in the “Scholarships” section of the MBA application form. Do this by checking the box next to “Skoll”.
When your MBA application is submitted, the MBA admissions team will first assess your application to ensure that you meet the academic requirements sought by the school. If you are accepted onto the programme, the Skoll Centre will send you an essay question that needs to be completed. Please do not request the Skoll scholarship essay from the admission team – you will receive it immediately following your acceptance to the MBA programme. The Skoll Centre will then consider your candidacy for the scholarship and advise you accordingly.
The scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis however,  candidates are encourage to apply as early as possible. For this application year, candidates must apply in Stages 1 and 2 or Stages 3 and 4 of the Oxford MBA application rounds to be considered for the Scholarship.

Kofi Annan MBA Scholarships for Developing Country Students

The Kofi Annan Business School Foundation provides fellowships for talented and motivated students from developing countries that allow them to obtain a university degree in Europe at one of the academic partners of the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation. British Chevening Scholarships for International Students

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.

Eligibility:
• Works either for a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country and, as such, is engaged in the planning and execution of directives and projects with emphasis on development policies having a bearing on technological, economic or social areas
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree (normally four years) in a related subject.
• Has completed an academic degree with far above average results (upper third) and at least two years of related professional experience
• His/her academic degrees should normally not be more than six years old
• For courses in German: DSH 2 or TestDaF 4; at time of application German skills at completed level A2 are required. In addition, German language courses at level A2 or B1 are highly recommended
• For courses in English: IELTS (Band 6) certifi cate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based).
